Day 1

  • 05.00am pick up from Surabaya and ETD to Sukapura village
  • 07.00am ETA Sukapura village, transfer cars with 4WD and depart for Bromo crater.
  • 07.30am ETA park at Area of Bromo, trek to Bromo crater (approximately 2 km), do sightseeing, and visit Pura Luhur Poten temple.
  • 10.00am Explore the Bromo Desert at
  • 10.15am ETD: travel to the Penanjakan/Kingkong Hill view point to enjoy the Bromo view above 2,700 m; then, continue to the Love Hill Bromo view point.
  • 12.30pm ETD to Sukapura village
  • 01.30pm ETA Sukapura village, transfer cars, and depart for the Surabaya/Malang area.
  • 04.00pm ETA Surabaya/Malang area & tour finish!

Mount Bromo

Bromo is an active volcano in East Java, Indonesia, located in the Tengger Mountains. It is not the highest summit in the massif, standing at 2,329 meters (7,641 feet), but it is the most well-known. The area is one of East Java’s most famous tourist sites, and the volcano is part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Bromo is a Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu god of creation. Mount Bromo is located in the “Sea of Sand” environmental reserve, Mount Bromo has erupted several times, the most recent in 2010.
