Day 0: Departure

  • 06:00 PM – Pick up at Bali area and ETD Paltuding Ijen (dinner on the way)

Day 1: Ijen Crater & Blue Fire

  • 01:00 AM – ETA Paltuding and trekking to the crater for sightseeing, Blue Fire, and Ijen craters
  • 08:00 AM – Breakfast and coffee in the morning
  • 09:00 AM – ETD to Tumpak Sewu homestay (lunch on the way)
  • 02:30 PM – ETA to the homestay and free program

Day 2: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall

  • 06:00 AM – Breakfast and coffee in the morning
  • 06:30 AM – Sightseeing in Tumpak Sewu Waterfall; continue visiting Goa Tetes accompanied by a local guide (we recommend wearing short pants, a t-shirt, and slippers)
  • 11:00 AM – Back to the homestay and lunch
  • 12:00 NN – Check out from the homestay and ETD to the hotel in the Bromo area
  • 05:00 PM – ETA hotel in Bromo area, check-in, and free program

Day 3: Bromo Sunrise Tour

  • 03:00 AM – Drive by 4WD to visit the destinations mentioned below.
  • 04:00 AM – ETA Penanjakan/Kingkong Hill viewpoint: enjoy the sunrise and Bromo view from above 2,700m; continue to visit Love Hill Bromo
  • 06:00 AM – ETD to Bromo desert
  • 06:30 AM – ETA Bromo Desert & sightseeing
  • 07:00 AM – Trekking to Bromo crater (approx. 2 km), sightseeing, and visiting Pura Luhur Poten temple
  • 09:00 AM – Back to the hotel for breakfast and coffee in the morning
  • 11:00 AM – Check out from hotel ETD to Surabaya/Malang
  • 02:30 PM – ETA Surabaya/Malang, and the tour is finished.

🌊 Tumpak Sewu Area

  • Spots to Visit: Tumpak Sewu viewpoint, Tumpak Sewu waterfall, Goa Tetes, and view of lava flowing from the Semeru volcano.
  • Information: Also known as Coban Sewu, located between Lumajang and Malang Regency. Semeru, Java’s highest active volcano, obscures the waterfall. Its primary water source is the Glidik River. “Tumpak Sewu” roughly translates to “a thousand waterfalls,” referring to its spectacular semicircular appearance.

  • Spots to Visit: Penanjakan or Kingkong Hill viewpoint, Love Hill Bromo, Sea of Sand, Bromo crater, Pura Luhur Poten temple.
  • Information: An active volcano in the Tengger Mountains standing at 2,329 meters (7,641 feet). It is part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park and located in the β€œSea of Sand” reserve. “Bromo” is a Javanese pronunciation of “Brahma,” the Hindu god of creation.

  • Spots to Visit: Ijen crater, Blue fire, sulfur mining exploration, sunrise viewpoint, and coffee plantation.
  • Information: Located west of Gunung Merapi, it features a turquoise-colored acidic crater lake (1km wide). The site is known for its labor-intensive sulfur mining operation, where workers carry sulfur-laden baskets by hand up to the Paluding Valley.
